Mens Game Result
The Blues men team were convincing winners in Game 2, running out 36-10 winners. Their forward pack dominated the contest led by Man of the Match Reinhardo Richards who played at second row. He received excellent help from Props Chevaun Smith, Omar Jones and Shaneal Brown who created havoc in the center of the field all day.
The Blues could do nothing wrong throughout with halves Mikel Facey and Chevaughn Bailey pulling the strings on a hot afternoon, highlighted by Facey’s brilliant kicking game.
Reds vaunted backline threat was virtually shut down all day as flyers Jenson Morris and Kenneth Walker never got going as they did in Game 1.
Blues winger Akeem Kitson was particularly excellent in thwarting Morris who was a main target. Halves Joseph Shae and Michael Pearson found it tough to link across the field despite the occasional good platform built by their forwards. Their good moments came from youngsters Malique Stephenson and Makhaya Anderson playing up the middle. Center Oshane Eddie was a constant threat but the finishing on his outside was poor all day.
