St Catherine Thundercats overturned expectations with a 30–22 win over the Duhaney Park Red Sharks, while the Liguanea Dragons stunned the JDF Warriors 12–7 in a low‑scoring battle. St Catherine Thundercats delivered one of the day’s biggest surprises, defeating the Duhaney Park Red Sharks 30–22 in a composed and disciplined performance. The Thundercats built steady momentum through tries from Shevaughn Smith, Tahj‑Jay Lynch, and forward Matthew Craig, meanwhile, Damoy Palmer made a major impact off the bench with two tries. Their goal‑kicking proved decisive, with Ahmeeiqkie Miller landing three goals and Brandon Gordon adding two.

“We were really pleased with our win against a full-strength Red Sharks outfit,” said Thundercats Captain Tah-Jay Lynch. “We stuck to our systems and were rewarded with the full two points.”
Redsharks coach Jason Gooden said,” It was a tough loss, but I really loved the effort from our team. We got into genuine try scoring positions quite a few times but were unlucky not to better capitalize.”
