Campion’s Coach Andrew Dixon believes his charges are improving and have a good chance.
“We are still a young team; we are definitely going for the win as we hope to defend our title”.
The second semifinal will be contested between The Cedar Grove Academy and BB Coke High on Friday November 18, at the Cedar Grove Academy, kick-off is scheduled for 2:30pm.
Cedar Grove Academy U19s
Cedar Grove will enter as slight favourites having beaten BB Coke in the group stages. In the Quarterfinals last week, Cedar Grove defeated Kingston College 26-6 while BB Coke were 20-6 winners over Calabar High. Cedar's coach Antonio Baker is looking forward to the encounter:
"We at Cedar Grove are excited about the challenge that we will face in the semifinals. Both teams are equally matched, therefore either can come away with the win. At the end of play, I believe the team who wants it more will be the victors."
BB Coke High Rugby League
Meanwhile BB Coke's Head Coach Kamar Findlay said:
"B.B. Coke spitfires will be looking to even the odds when we face our greatest rival in the second semi finals tomorrow. Cedar Grove has been an Achilles heel for us from last season and we do not intend to to be shot in the leg in the penultimate matchup. We are coming strong and expect only one result, victory.
The final is scheduled for Friday November 25, 3:30pm, the venue to be announced.
